What is flickflop?
Flickflop.com is an online web site for trading used DVD movies. What makes Flickflop unique is the fact that DVD trading does not happen between the members of the site but with Flickflop's inventory of used DVD movies. The site implements a special program that determines which DVD movies you can trade for depending on the following main factors:
Your DVD movie being traded
Your Movie genre preference
Your trading history
This takes the traditional model of trading DVD movies online to the next level. It gives the users the advantage of a wider selection of readily available DVD movies to trade for and with a faster turnaround time.

Getting Started
You need to sign up to be a member of the site to use flickflop's services.Membership is free. Once you signup as a member, you can now login to the member section of the site and start trading any used original DVD movies that you currently own. There are about 5 steps in trading your DVD, from typing the title of your movie, to picking the DVD you want to paying for the trade. It's that easy!
Also, with each new membership, Flickflop will send you DVD-mailers that you can use to start trading with. To send in your DVD movies, all you need is to buy regular postage for it.
Flickflop will send you postage-saver dvd-mailer to send in your DVD for trades.
Put a stamp on it and drop it in your nearest post office/box.
How does it work?
You login to the site's member section, go to the trade area and type in the DVD movie that you want to trade. Flickflop would then give you a list of DVD movie options that you can trade for. Flickflop takes in the value of the DVD that you are trading for, your trading history and your movie preference to come up with the list of movies. Once you pick your DVD trade, you can continue trading for more or pay for the trade.
Each trade costs $1.99US including shipping and packaging and will only deal with legal copies of the DVD. Also, to save with the shipping, Flickflop will only deal with the DVD media and not the DVD packaging/box.
It is your responsibility to send us and purchase postage for your DVD using your own packaging or using Flickflop provided DVD-mailer. Postage is .59 from Canada and .69 from the US.
1. Select your trade. Your DVD movie for another DVD movie from Flickflop.
2. Put your DVD into the provided postage-save dvd mailer.
To save with mailing, send only the DVD media and NOT the DVD case.
Flickflop will send you postage-saver dvd-mailer to send in your DVD for trades.
You can also use your own packaging if you are trading more than one DVDs.
3. Put stamp on it and mail.
Regular stamp to Canada if you are in the US.
4. Wait for your Flickflop DVD to arrive in the mail.
Your traded DVD will arrive postage-paid in the mail.
It will come with another postage-save dvd mailer for future trades.
*In order to be fair to all members and to maintain the quality of our DVD titles, we are limiting the trades of the same movie to 5 per user. If for example you have 7 copies of Rambo, you can only trade that title 5 times and any other trades involving the same DVD title will be voided by flickflop.

How do I go about receiving a DVD?
Once we receive your trade, we will then classify this trade as pending. As soon as we receive your DVD and it meets all minimum quality requirements, we will then send you your DVD movie traded. You will be notified that your DVD is being mailed out. You do not have to worry about the postage of this mail, this is part of the $1.99 cost.
Once received, the trade is complete and you get to watch a new movie. You will also receive a free DVD-mailer for each trades receive that you can use in future trades.
Your traded DVD will arrive postage-paid in the mail.
It will come with another postage-save dvd mailer for future trades.
Illegal Discs
As a member and with each DVD trades, you acknowledge and agree that you have the valid title and ownership rights to any DVDs that you make available as a DVD trade. Flickflop reserves the right at all times to refuse a trade if we deem to have received an illegal copy of any DVD. We will send the DVD back to you and to cancel your membership due to a violation of our terms of service.
All DVDs traded must meet the minimum requirements:
The DVD is legally owned by the trader
The DVD must be the original DVD, not a duplicate, counterfeit or bootlegged copy
The DVD must play perfectly with no skipping or jumping
DVD must have Region 1 encoding
Failure to meet any of the minimum DVD requirements will result into the trade being voided by Flickflop and the DVD traded will be sent back to the member and their membership revoked.

If you have DVD movies that are sitting and collecting dusts, for $1.99US you get to watch a new movie tonight :) Since you are trading against Flickflop's growing inventory of movies, you don't need to create any want or wish lists. What condition can a DVD be in?
All DVDs traded must meet the minimum quaility requirements:
The DVD must be the original DVD, not a duplicate, counterfeit or bootlegged copy
The DVD must play perfectly with no skipping or jumping
DVD must have Region 1 encoding
Failure to meet any of the minimum DVD quality requirements will result into the trade being voided by Flickflop and the DVD traded will be sent back to the member and their membership revoked.
How much does it cost?

Are there refund options?
There are no refund options for each trade*. If you are unhappy with the DVD movie that you got, simply trade it back to again. If there are technical or physical issues with the media (won't play or got damaged in the mail) email us at info@flickflop.com and we will deal with the issues on a trade by trade basis.
Flickflop will test every DVD it receives and sents to make sure that they are 100% functional and working.
* In exceptional circumstances, refunds are given at the discretion of Flickflop.
